My Very Own Pink 3DS XL

OMG OMG OMG!!! I FINALLY GOT MY HANDS ON A PINK X WHITE 3DS XL!!!!!

I was sooooo happy yesterday when I found it in store. I've waited FOREVER for one. Really. FOREVER. Ever since they announced the original 3DS I was waiting for a nice pink-looking one. The pearl pink for original 3DS was nice but I wanted a better 3DS. The reviews were mediocre and I know Nintendo always release new hardware every year or so. So patience does pay off!

It started like this...

I was very disappointed when Nintendo announced they would release the blue and red version of the new 3DS XL. OMG REALLY NINTENDO?!?!? IT'S HIDEOUS! Japan got white so why does North America always get the nasty looking colours on release day!

I was even MORE disappointed during the E3 and their Nintendo Direct...no new 3DS XL colours were announced...REALLY?! How could you!! It wasn't a production issue because Japan has white and pink version. ARGH!!!

On November 1, I found out that the pink 3DS XL is coming to NORTH AMERICA! But only on this US website, GILT and it was a limited release. OMFG, this was driving me crazy...
The bundle comes with the hardware and a game (some fashion game or Professor Layton) but with taxes, duty and shipping total was $250. TOO EXPENSIVE. I want the 3DS badly but just couldn't justify in spending this much on it. But I thought, why the heck would Nintendo just let GILT get all the glory and have the pink 3DS all to themselves? Maybe...Nintendo will release the pink version in retail stores soon.

So I waited...

Then yesterday while browsing through the weekly flyers, I saw the 3DS XL will be on sale next week AND UNDERNEATH IT IT SAID "ALSO AVAILABLE IN PINK". OMG Did I read that correctly? A PINK ONE? I had to re-read it several times to make sure I wasn't hallucinating or anything. My eyes weren't playing tricks on me, the small bold letters formed the sentence correctly and indeed the pink 3DS XL is available for sale.

But wait a minute...Nintendo didn't announce anything (I've checked the official website and it said NOTHING about releasing a new colour).

Still unconvinced but stubborn about it, I trotted off to Toys R Us totally expecting it not to be there.....AND THERE IT WAS SHINING ON THE SHELF...A PINK 3DS XL. I couldn't believe it..right before my eyes was the unicorn and guess what? It was on sale for $169.99! I had enough to grab a game too and make it my own bundle hahaha.

So I called my boyfriend right away and told him I found it!!! And you know what he said? HE'LL GET IT FOR ME AS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT!!!

Double happiness!!

So I bought the system AND Zelda (boyfriend said he will pay me back later) and ran back home.

Okay enough of me...

FEAST YOUR EYES ON MY PINK X WHITE 3DS XL (it's only 50% is pink but I think the pink and white combo makes it extra nice).

My precious baby.
I wasn't even this excited when I got my white PS VITA haha

Sasa.com Haul #1

POSTED ON: Tuesday, November 27, 2012 @ 11/27/2012 10:12:00 p.m. | 0 comments

My Sasa.com order arrived in the mail today! It took about 1.5 weeks, which is not bad considering that it came from Hong Kong. Sasa is an online store that sells Asian brand cosmetics and beauty products, they often have free shipping promotions going on all year like, free shipping when you purchase $15 or $19 (add $8 for express). All of their shipping comes with a tracking number, so you don't have to worry about the parcel getting lost. This isn't my first time ordering things from Sasa but it's my first time blogging about it. I hope you're excited as I am.

Let's take a look...

Really well packaged :)

On the left is the Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil ($13.30 USD), it's suppose to be just as good at the Shu Uemura cleansing oil but at a much affordable price.
Beside it is the  Hadamony Collagen Mist ($12.70 USD). I thought this would be good in the winter time since my skin is really dry. The collagen is suppose to make my skin firmer.

Meiji Amino Collagen Premium ($49.50 USD each) in canned and refillable form.
Sometimes, Sasa will have promotions on it like, buy 2 get 10% off.
This is SOOO GOOD!!! I've been using it for 3 months and my skin is nice, pores are smaller and I don't produce a lot of oil on my face any more.
This is recommended if you're over 20 years old.
The powder tastes...bad. I personally don't like it so I have to mix it with Milo and you have to drink it everyday in order to see results. I saw results within a week :)

Sasa.com free gifts, I got a free re-usable bag (used points) and a free sample of Recovery Eye Essence

An open window to my boring life...

POSTED ON: Sunday, November 25, 2012 @ 11/25/2012 12:17:00 a.m. | 0 comments

I like to share random thoughts and ideas at random moments but since I don't have a lot of friends, I'd thought I will share it with strangers on the internet instead.

My life isn't all that interesting. I'm not a make-up guru or a fashionista or anything of the sort. I'm not a photographer, an artist or a graphic designer who can show off artwork. I'm just me.

♥ back up ♥
An open window...
